DIALOG, Cox Enterprises’ biennial event, brought 400 top leaders to Nashville for three days of forward-thinking discussions.
We were thrilled to work with the team at Cox again, helping to bring DIALOG to life. Our team was responsible for creating the two-day run of show (ROS) and all the event content.
With hours of presentations, live music, and an eye-popping 2,320 square feet of screen area, DIALOG demanded a masterful production approach.

Think Big, Then Amplify
The event’s theme was “Amplify.” We took this as a challenge to go beyond standard visuals.
Our artists explored a range of representative shapes and styles. At 6246px × 1080px, these sprawling visuals had to look stunning from every seat in the house. We landed on dynamic particle systems, swirling ribbons, sine waves, and expanding circles to provide visual lift for the two-day event.
These forms were especially well suited to the extremely wide-screen, allowing for numerous looks while setting the visual tone for the event.
Planning
It would be impossible to take on an event of this scale without relying on our years of event experience. We know the complexities of creating this sheer amount of content while each presentation goes through multiple rounds of rewrites.
We created a system that broke down each script into visual cues, each assigned a unique number. Each visual was then uploaded to a cloud viewing system, so the speakers and the executive teams could review them in the context of the script.
To properly visualize the content, we built a scale-accurate digital model of the Omni Hotel stage. This precise virtual environment let us fine-tune animations and design layouts in advance — ensuring each pixel of the 116×20-foot screen would look just right.
Creating over 500 renders and 840 animated slides is a massive undertaking, requiring a commitment to quality control to get all that content accurate, ordered, and delivered before the event.
On location
Our team was on-site during the two-day braintrust to help with the setup and execution of the event content. We worked directly with the live event director and show producers to make sure every visual cue was experienced precisely as the team at Cox intended.
Rehearsals are just as important for the technical team as they are for the performers and presenters.
Within just the first three hours of day one, there were over 300 cued animated visuals. Being able to collaborate with the live event team ensured that everything went off without a hitch.
All in the Details
3D Perspective Sets: We created unique speaker support packages—animating backgrounds and transitions that immersed each presenter in a tailored world.
Two-Mode Displays: For consistency and viewability, backgrounds seamlessly switched between a central stage view with two inset screens left and right, and a full-screen takeover.
Immersive Surround Sound: To complete the immersive feel, we designed custom audio that synced perfectly with the visuals.

With hundreds of renders, thousands of cues, and hours of rehearsals, the event was ready to begin.
The result? High-impact visuals, blazing 5.1 surround sound, and an audience that was totally rapt.
