Created by DIG SOUTH Media, DIG SOUTH Tech Summit connects leading global brands to the South's most scalable startups. Executives, investors, founders, developers, and experts convene in Charleston to talk tech innovation, business growth, digital marketing, and more.

With a heavy focus this year on Web3 and Emerging Tech, Elevation teamed up with DIG SOUTH to host a curated NFT art gallery, a panel on NFTs, and a workshop on the token economy.

Let’s DIG in to the gallery first!

There are SO MANY incredible NFT artists out there, but we curated a gallery of 24, spanning various blockchains, styles, mediums, and disciplines to show just how vast the art world of NFTs can be. Each artist (or NFT project) had 3-4 pieces of art included.

To keep things lively and entice more eyes to the gallery, we had 8 art screens (in alternating portrait and landscape formats) each with a rotation of roughly 12 pieces of art on :10 cycles.

Because this was an educational showcase, as well as eye-candy, we hosted a separate screen with QR codes leading visitors to the full list of artists, their bios, and where you could find (or buy) more of their art. In case someone missed that screen, we also included the codes as an overlay at the bottom of each screen.

A second QR code on the Info Screen led attendees to our Web3 Learning Center to “dig” a little deeper into digital wallets, NFT 101 and some of our articles on Web3 and the metaverse.

We packaged the whole experience up with custom branded graphics and transitions for DIG SOUTH’s first-ever NFT gallery, featuring a claimable DIG SOUTH SUMMIT 2022 POAP, as well as promo material for DIG SOUTH and the contributing artists.

Featured artists, if you’re reading this, thank you SO much for allowing us to showcase your incredible talents and get more eyeballs on your such-deserving art!

But we went in even deeper than that!

If there’s one thing our Director of Strategy, Brett Rakestraw, loves more than NFT art, it’s teaching people about the utility of NFTs! So when we had a chance to host a panel with NFT artists and host a workshop on this new age of digital ownership, and what that can mean for individual consumers and brands alike, you KNOW we jumped on board!

Bottom line… We DUG it.

For some Web3/metaverse nerds like us, it was absolute heaven being amongst such an amazing collection of entrepreneurs, curiosity-driven professionals, and shakers and movers, all interested in this game-changing, emerging tech. DIG SOUTH was an incredible experience, and we can’t wait to attend again next year!
