Escape - Network Refresh

Originally branded by Elevation in 2014, Elevation refreshed the network to match the new direction of programming. With true crime and federal agency case files, the network needed a grittier, more organic approach to the brand. Strong, high contrast imagery with a sense of mystery. The key to the brand is the Escape logo, treated in 3D and 2D, integrated into live action and informational graphics.

To meet the full scope of deliverables needed for the brand, we chose to use a combination of live action shots with stock footage. Anything micro/small environment was captured using strong directional light and high quality lenses. Any macro shots or environments where sourced through stock licensing. This process allowed for a lot more graphic exploration and development of the logo in both 2D and 3D. Finally, part of a successful branding project is creating a toolkit system that is easy to use, flexible and has anticipated future growth and evolving network needs. We were sure to make the final kits friendly and expandable, with a thorough style guide to build upon.

We are proud to have this project ranked as the #1 Rebrand of 2019 by Promax Daily Brief!
